Progress
Gus is progressing very well. He is learning to leave it and laydown. We did manage to teach him fist bump. He gets annoyed with us when we dont give him the treat after a few minutes. We are working on that though🐶. I think that he is doing really well and we found an agility training spot and someone will help him learn properly instead of me teaching him away where he could develop some bad habits so this is good!

Leash training
When ever we go for a walk Gus just has a mind of his own. He goes where ever he wants to go. Whenever I try to lead h8m he pulls back. So I took him too the basement and guided him around with a treat. Then it got better but now he is pulling on the leash. But he is adorable when he trots in front of me!

My training plan
My plan is to train him so he can do agility. I still have to do some more basic tricks such as lie down. I think I also have to work on stay a little more, and definitely, he needs to learn the command “leave it.” Eventually, I will enter him in competitions. I think that that will be fun and I`m really excited to start that, as well. He really loves to run so I don’t think that I will have a problem with the time and hopefully we will win!

Gus the Goldendoodle
Gus is a mini goldendoodle. He is a great companion! Those of you who has a dog with know that they are great company! That is a golden retriever mixed with a poodle. Gus is 11 weeks old but we have only got him 3 weeks ago. Gus is a pretty smart little dog. He already knows how to sit, stay, come, his name, and give a paw. I just have one problem. He is really nippy! He will bite me anytime I am sitting with him so all I do it if he bites me I stand up and walk away. If I do that really consistently eventually he will learn not to bite or else he will not be able to play! At the very least, I try to fit in a training section each day. He already knows how to ring the bell and go outside. I think that that is great progress, in 3 weeks. Don’t you? Going for a walk is still a little bit difficult. He never lets me guide him. He always pulls the other way. He has already stepped out of his harness! Luckily I caught him.
